Not receivng confirmation text and/or email from apps


I recently upgrade my handset from a Samsung J3 to a Samsung A70, I received a new sim and used the Samsung Smart Switch to transfer all my data from one device to the other. I'm having issues with the Facebook App I am not receiving the Security code which is normally sent via text when logging in from a new device, i have pressed re-send etc... but still nothing. I was wondering whether a new sim (with same number) would be the issue as I have received confirmation text from other apps?

Hi @Anotherusername123,

It's strange why it's not working. As other apps are able to send you the code via SMS, this may be an issue with Facebook itself. Have you tried to update your number on your Facebook account? You may want to try and contact Facebook support directly if it still doesn't work.

Thanks unfortunately I cannot login and update without the security code and there are no way to contact facebook directly. Thank you for your input

Ah I see. Hopefully you can obtain help using this link without needing to log in to Facebook.
