You should activate your iD Mobile eSIM in your phone first, @Zoe Goold

Your initial iD Mobile number needs to be allocated to your iD account, which happens when you activate your eSIM.

Once your iD eSIM is activated and your network services are all working, you can submit your PAC for the number you want to keep.

Hi there @Zoe Goold

What you should have done was request your PAC from your previous service provider first, then gave the PAC to iD when you placed the order.

But fear not.

What I would do is leave the previous providers SIM/eSIM in the phone and wait until the service stops, but whilst waiting have your transaction reference to hand and contact iD via live chat (tomorrow now).

(start the chat with either speak to person or talk to person to bypass their automated chat bot)

Tell them you ordered and received the eSIM but you now want to port your number using the PAC.

They should advise on what to do next.

If they don’t I’d wait until your previous service stops, turn the phone off and eject the SIM (or if you’re currently using a eSIM from your old provider delete it). Then switch the phone back on (without the previous SIM) and scan the QR code on to your phone (it must be the phone you want to use). Then your iD service should become live. It will be using the number on the SIM not yours yet.

However being as its Thursday tomorrow the port might complete Friday (by 10pm) or failing that not until Monday (also by 10pm) and you may lose your iD service until the eSIM picks up your number.
