Password Issues

Upon Registering an account via the iOS app, it provides an error saying the password can only contain certain special Characters. I removed all special characters and it still shows this message, I even killed the app and restarted, using just capital, lowercase and numeric for the password but got the same error message. 
This needs fixing by the developers. Having spoken to customer service, they advised setting it to London123 which then worked. I was then able to change the password, but the password field was limited to 16 characters. this may seem a lot but my preferred password is longer.
So this is not so much of a question, but more a comment to help others and hopefully iD can read this and file a bug report to get it fixed as others seem to be having similar issues.
