Phone sim settings show ID Mobile as an eSim but it is a Physical Sim Card

My Motorola Edge 40 sim settings are showing ID Mobile as an eSim but it is actually a physical SIM card (see screenshot).  I assume I can still use the second unconfigured eSim as an actual eSim when I go traveling to USA next month?

Hi @Brian Connolly,

Welcome to the Community!

It may be that you have lost coverage as you need to try and connect to the networks below manually to check which one works.

Hi @kevmull,

Welcome to the Community!

You should be able to use another eSIM along side the SIM if it shows on your settings.

Please let us know if you have any issues.

Hi there. Currently on honeymoon in NZ. I installed an esim to use over here for data but now my ID SIM has disappeared as an option. Can someone from ID help me reinstall my own ID SIM profile for my mobile number?

Hi there Kash.

My issue is that my ID SIM isn't showing at all. My number is now no longer listed on my phone.

I have taken my SIM out and back in and it is not being recognised as holding anything.

Hi @Brian Connolly

Are you sure your device is a dual SIM device?

It may be worth trying a new eSIM as we wouldn’t be able to send out a replacement physical SIM to NZ.

We’ll be able to get in contact with you to assist here, or for a quicker service, we’d recommend using the Live Chat, Facebook or Twitter.
