Poor phone signal

Just signed up with ID last week but cannot get a phone signal (data seems ok). Live in Didcot, OX116AR, so not rural. I used eSIM and now have a primary and personal number….wondering if there’s an issue here?

I started contract on 14/01, so 1 week. But it’s very poor all the time. As I said, I wonder if it’s a phone settings issue?
