porting not processed


another day passes and still no sign of switch happening this has been going on since 28th September still no response from idmobile as to why this simple task should take so long 

just received an email from idmobile to recommend a friend to switch to them I don't know anyone I hate that much

we live in hope

This won’t be much consolation @barrydove, but you’re entitled to compensation for each day iD Mobile delay switching your number to their network - as per OFCOM rules.

Mobile number portability shouldn’t be difficult - UK operators have all signed-up to OFCOM’s regulations governing this process, and use an industry standard process for switching numbers between providers.

I’d guess the issue with iD Mobile is their lack of technical resources to deal with things going wrong.
Maybe there’s a reason why iD Mobile offer cheap phone contracts and SIM only plans.

thanks  wish I hadn't heard of them going to put it on social media to avoid at at all costs

Tweeting and posting on facebook might, just might, encourage iD to fix your problem, although I suspect it won’t - good luck though @barrydove.
