Question

replacement sim not working following handset being lost

I lost my phone, bought a replacement and a new SIM card. 12 hours ago I activated my sim online but nothing seems to have happened and I still don’t have mobile network.

I’ve tried putting the sim in my friends phone, same problem with the sim.

Please can someone help me with this!

also - can I assume that as I activated the new sim on my existing account, that when it happens, that my old telephone number will be used?

thanks

Restart mobile. Try to search network manually. Make sure sim is activated.

Hello @Sus123,

When you lost the phone, did you contact us to report this as lost/stolen?

If so, then a bar would have been applied to suspend the services from being used. We’ll need to lift this manually.

If you didn’t report this to us, then the issue may be something else.

Let us know so we can either get a PM sent over to lift the bar (which you can also do by speaking to our Live Chat Team) or we can troubleshoot the issue further.
