Charged for roaming last month,suspect because I was on ferry to Ireland but no detail in bill to show this,can I find out exactly what roaming charges are for and should I’d issue warnings about use on sailings to eu?

The bill should provide a full breakdown of the charges, however they may not have been billed as of yet and may show on your upcoming bill.
You’ll be subject to ‘Maritime roaming’ charges, even if you’re travelling between any of our free roaming destinations. For more information, and to view the charges, select ‘Roaming’ above, and then ‘Ships, Ferries, Cruise Liners’ on the dropdown.
You would usually get a text message to say that you will be charged.
However to avoid future charges, you can set your cap to £0.
