When I first moved to ID mobile from EE, everything worked fine, but as soon as my old number was ported across I keep getting ‘Invalid Sim’ message. If I take it out and wipe it then put it back in it seems to be ok but I can’t keep doing that all the time.

Perhaps get a replacement iD SIM card,
Pop into any Currys store, or use the online iD Live Chat service, to obtain a replacement iD SIM card.
