I changed to a new Sim from iD mobile and did all the PAC stuff to retain my old number. However in the settings of the IPhone in Mobile Data the Primary is still showing at the number from the replacement Sim?>?>

Have you tried a NETWORK RESET @Garath Baxter?

The iOS user guide should explain how to do this.

Hi @Garath Baxter

I’d recommend a network settings reset as @andewhite also suggests.

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Okay @Garath Baxter, have you checked the correct number is shown in the following iPhone settings:

  • Settings > AppleID > Name, Phone Numbers, Email
(check the EMAIL & PHONE NUMBERS section)
  • Settings > Messages > Send & Receive
(check YOU CAN RECEIVE IMESSAGES TO AND REPLY FROM section)
  • Settings > FaceTime
(check YOU CAN BE REACHED BY FACETIME AT section)

Perhaps the mobile number you switched over to iD Mobile is linked to another Apple device?

The Apple support article https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201422 might help in this situation.

Hi @Garath Baxter

Have you tried the above from @andewhite?

Please let us know how you get on.
