Can anyone recommend a good sleep app

Best answer by ally153

I have been a long time user of Sleep As Android. It has a lot of features to track sleep quality including respiration tracking, %time in deep sleep, snore tracker etc. You also don't need to put your phone on the bed with you to track your patterns with a feature called 'sonar'. I've never used the feature, but apparently it uses your mic to pick up ultrasonic sounds.

If you use it for your alarm it can also wake you up when you are in a lighter sleep phase as opposed to disrupting you while you're in a deep sleep. There are "Pro" features you need to pay for, but the basic functionality is free.

I've been using an app called "Sleep Cycle".
This seems to be one of the better ones out there plus it's free.

Give it a try, if you don't like it there's plenty more out there just waiting to be installed.
I aslo bought a fitbit to see how well i was sleeping.

The fitbit + sleep cycle app seem to be on par most night with regards to accuracy. So thats a plus.

Hey @annmac0896

For years I have used an app called 'Deep Sleep with Andrew Johnson.' It's a short meditation guide that you play as you fall asleep, with a voice softly taking to you as you drift off. I wasn't sold on meditation apps until I used this; after a week I was falling asleep before the program had even ended! 😴

Highly recommended.

You can download the apps here:
