Switch to ID incomplete , cant register account .

Hello All
I switched to ID yesterday using the PAC process to keep my number. My mobile is working using the ported number , and my phone is definitely on the ID network . 
Problem is I cannot resister my ID account . If I try the ported number it wont accept it with a 
“Oops, the details you�ve entered are incorrect. Please try again.” Error.
If I try with the ID number that came with the SIM, it gets a step further and tries to send the security code which never arrives, I guess because the original number has been superceded by my ported number.

Have tried rebooting the phone, makes no difference.
 
Please can someone help me get this sorted out .

Okay @johm6340, live chat may be able to help, but I suspect not.

When I joined I was advised to keep trying to register, which eventually worked.

It seems from time-to-time the iD back-end systems have operational problems, but the actual mobile network side of things is usually pretty good - notwithstanding ongoing work for 5G support - good luck with registration.

This problem happens from both the app and the web interface .
I have also not received any SMS from ID saying that the PAC/port process is complete .

Just used the live chat on the id site . 
Apparently a network failure of some sort is responsible .

If your number has been ported to iD, that’s the number to use when registering - unless there’s a problem with the back-end systems at iD.

Have you managed to register yet?

Hi , 

Short answer is no , still cannot register.
 
As mentioned above, If I use the original sim number it validates the number , name, date of birth part, and goes to the send a security code . My phone is working on the ported number, so never gets the SMS .
If I try and register with the ported number it fails straight away with the “Oops….” Error.

Okay @johm6340, did you bring your number over from Vodafone?

I had a similar problem when I joined iD - initially I couldn’t register for my iD My Account using initial iD number or my ported-in number (after switching).

I kept trying every couple of days and after about a week I managed to register successfully.

Anyway, good luck.

No, it was from another three account .
It is not a massive problem , the phone is working.
I will keep on trying every day or so .
Just thought someone might have access to the systems to set the required parameters …..
