I am changing from a work phone to a personal phone with iD Mobile. My PAC won’t be ready for 4 more working days. Is it possible to then switch from the assigned iD Mobile number to the one I want to keep?

Yes, if the PAC (for the number you want to keep) is from another service provider, and not from iD Mobile,
