Switching to sim only

My 24 month contract ends next month and I can upgrade from now. I don’t want to upgrade. However I do want to go onto a monthly rolling sim only deal. I’ve seen a deal online for £12/m for new customers.
1.) how do I arrange to switch to sim only?

2.) will I receive a new sim and do I have to arrange for to keep my current phone number?

3.) do I need to give notice now to leave my current contract?

Hi @Leon Lilley,

Welcome to the Community!

If you currently have a handset contract you’ll need to wait until the minimum term of the contract has passed before you can upgrade to a SIM only contract.

When you upgrade with us you would keep the same number so you don’t need to give any notice.

Hello @Leon Lilley

You can switch to a sim only on the my ID app or by speaking with the upgrades team on live chat.

Some deals may not be available though. IE new customer offers.

Thanks for your help. I can only see the option to upgrade the handset, not sim only. And the only way I am able to see to contact ID is this forum.

If it’s not simple enough I guess it’s easier to cancel the contract and get simo with someone else…
