Taking too long to transfer my number over.


I entered my PAC code on Sunday. I was told it would be transferred on Tuesday by 10pm. It is now Wednesday at 8pm and I still cannot call or receive calls from my usual number.

 

My wife is due to go into labour at any minute and I am finding this service incredibly frustrating. Chat operatives have been less than helpful. 

 

Please assist.

I'm having the same issue, absolutely joke. No customer service. I'm contacting  E.E tomorrow to cancel this, lost hundreds of pounds through not porting my number or my girlfriend. Paying 2 contracts. Going straight back to carphone warehouse

Hi @Galvanise_, Unfortunately something has broken at ID Mobile HQ and all we really know to date is what @Siân posted in another thread:

I am afraid there are some delays with some SIM’s being activated and numbers porting over at the moment. Our team are working on getting this resolved as soon as possible.

I would advise to periodically reboot your phone and hopefully it will activate soon.

Hopefully now it’s been classed as a “mass” problem it will get sorted a bit quicker.  I ported over a week ago so don’t want to dampen your hopes but I can’t see it being anytime soon.  Nice to know it’s not just me tho!!

There have been a few issues over the past week, this has resulted in port delays.

We have team who  are currently working through all requests as we speak, you will receive a text message once your number has ported over.

We are very sorry for the delay.
