text from id regarding App

Hi

I received a text message from id today, saying I need to upgrade my id app, using the link in the text.

Ive not clicked on it as I am unsure if this is legitimate.

I can't however log into my current id app, it just says check network connection, nothing wrong with my network connection as everything else is working.

 

Can anyone advise as to whether the text is legitimate

Hi Chrissie13,

I can confirm the SMS is legitimate and the URLs point towards the App/Google Play stores.

We’ve experienced a couple of issues today which has affected the app and hence why you see the error. This isn’t related to the new app version so it should hopefully work well for you :).
