Hi @Samantha Skinner

I’m sorry to hear this, are you on an iPhone or Android device with this error?

Have you made sure the iMessage (iPhone) or Chat Features (Android) settings are all provisioned correctly?

Tom

Hi @Samantha Skinner ,

Could you please try the below and let us know if you have the same issue.

1)    Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2)    Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3)    Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.
4)    If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5)    Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6)    Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under “Start new conversations from:”.

Kash

Very helpful as the number is wrong. It won’t let me save my actual number though. What shall I do?

Okay @Samantha Skinner, assuming your iPhone is using iOS 16, go to:

  1. Settings  > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset
  2. Choose the Reset Network Settings option.
