Question

Transferring current SIM to replacement phone

My iphone broke. If I get a replacement, can I simply swap the SIM card over? Do I have to do anything or wait for it to register to the new device?

If the existing iD SIM card fits in the replacement handset, then services should work okay.

You can normally use your iD SIM card in whatever mobile phone you choose @simondeutsch

For list of ‘approved handsets’, see https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/approved-handsets.

Ok, that sounds easy enough.

Thank you.

Hi @simondeutsch

As long as your new device is supported on iD Mobile, you’ll be able to pop the existing SIM right into it.
