I was wondering if anyone would be able to help, I've recently transferred from Vodafone to iD, the switch went through with my old number on thr 12th December. At the moment I am able to use data and make phone calls/texts messages but I am unable to receive them, all I get is "the number you have dialled is not recognised, please check the number and try again."
I've spoken to the live chat advisors, who have sent me a new SIM card but this hasn't resolved the issue.
The handset is a S21 ultra.
Edit: My friend who is also on iD was able to call me so it looks like its just other providers
Many thanks,
Bradley

Is your number set correctly on your phone @Nick R?
Have you turned the phone off completely and switched it back on?
If you have:
For iPhone
Open ‘Settings’.
Tap ‘Apps’.
Tap ‘Phone’.
Tap ‘My Number’.
Enter your mobile number, using +44 instead of the first 0.
Tap ‘Save’.
A kinda last resort
Open ‘Settings’.
Tap ‘General’.
Tap ‘Transfer or Reset iPhone’.
Tap ‘Reset’.
Select ‘Reset Network Settings’.
Enter your passcode, then tap ‘Reset Network Settings’.
Resetting network settings will erase saved Wi-Fi networks and VPN settings. After the reset, you will need to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords and configure any other network settings as needed.
For Android
Open ‘Messages’.
Tap ‘Advanced’.
Tap ‘Phone Number’.
Update the number.
If this doesn’t work, double-check what number is stored in your Samsung Account by following these steps:
Open ‘Messages’.
Tap ‘My Profile’.
Tap ‘Profile Sharing’.
Check what number is stored under ‘Registered Device’.
If the wrong number is stored, turn the chat off and back on again.
If it still doesn’t work
Open ‘Settings’.
Tap ‘General management’.
Tap ‘Reset’.
Select ‘Reset Network Settings’.
But note the above as this also deletes saved networks etc
