upgrade to esim but no handset yet

I upgraded my phone and requested an esim. My contract has updated and I have my eSIM ready to activate but I have not received my new handset. I therefore can’t use my current phone when not connected to WiFi. Am I able to activate my eSIM to my current phone and then switch it to the new handset when it arrives?

You’ll need to request a replacement eSIM then request another once you have the new handset.
