Hello,
Me and my partner are currently in Albania and we are both unable to use our phones. We know that Albania is not in the roaming destination and have had our data switched off mostly.
We have set our cap to £10 each so that we can use calls or texts for emergencies but the phones will not call or text out/receive anything. We have been charged £8 each from our usage cap despite not using any extras on the phone, as we have been unable to connect to anything unless we are on WiFi. You will see we have not made any calls or texts or completed any roaming, the phone seems almost dead.
I have read the forums and tried to look at settings but nothing will work, we have data roaming on and our data caps increased.
I have a Google pixel 4 and my partner has a Google pixel 6. Both phones were working fine in Greece last week. I currently have a R in my signal bar with a ! mark where it usually has 4G.
Can you advise how we get calls and text working? And can you advise why our caps are 80% used when we have not used anything on the phone
Question
