Looks like I’ll run out of data this month so rather than buying a bolt on I’m thinking of upgrading. If I do, when will my new plan with the increased data start?

If you’re looking at upgrading the upgraded plan would kick in once the warehouse team send out the new SIM card to you!
If you’re looking at a plan change this would change within the next 24 hours, likely sooner.
I’d recommend downloading the iD Mobile app to take a look at your options.
