Android every time I love Samsung they look smarter than anyone else and always a good price 

Android has far more choices of phones and more flexibility. There are budget & high end options. I never liked the trendiness of Apple, and the fact that they glue the batteries in so you can't repair them. Also apparently they send updates to older models that slow them down!

Only used Android phones since my first smart phone. I really like the way they integrate with my desktop and other devices. Everything works like a system so I can just move from one to the other. iPhone may well do the same but I don't want to risk finding it doesn't.

Love love my Apple iPhone but as a pensioner I’m stuck with the old 7 so boy would I love to win a spanking new iPhone, yes please I’m so used to them and to old to change to android 

Android, you can change phone brands with out the extra faff thay comes with apple and its more versatile.

Android for me, specifically Samsung. Love its simplicity and I can share watching something on my phone when out and about to my tv, when back at home.

Has to be Android all the way, Apple ends up costing you an arm and a leg, just the charging leads alone are a pain, as for the apps, I get along great with the free apps, members of my family have the iPhone and it's like a cult, at least you have a choice of manufacturers with an android, 

I've had iPhones and Android for personal phones over the years I've loved both. My HTC sadly met an untimely demise and it was replaced with an iPhone 4S with I loved to death, it eventually died from age related battery issues. My current personal phone is a Huawei P9 which seems in destructible and has been running on SIM-Only for years after completing my initial contact. I just wish it has more memory. 

These days I'm lucky enough to get a work iPhone current model it's a 12 Mini excellent phone but it's heavily monitored and locked down by my employer. So I won't be ditching my personal mobile. 

Android seems very stable over the long term and doesn't get bogged down with updates. My iPhones over the years (except for my 12mini as it's still relatively new) get iOS updated into oblivion lots of apps eventually seems to be come unsupported sooner than they do on Android. The couple of iPhones I'd had have also developed battery issues on the long term.

However, given the above I still prefer Apple phones for ease of navigation and feel you just have to accept the phone will probably will need replacing sooner than an Android phone. 

I much prefer Android over Apple as too many apps etc are specific for Apple.

Has to be Android due to its open source roots and vast selection of handsets at differing price points.

I think both are good in their own ways... But when it comes down to it.

Android.

It would be an everlasting battle to compare an apple phone to an android phone, however, there are a lot more options to chose from when it comes to brands and features of choice.

On the software side I've always found android to be a step ahead and apple at some point following in the same footsteps.

Has to be Android for me :)

My first phone was a Motorolla the first one that came out, the size of a brick!! 

How technology has changed, after having various phones now old models which were only available then, I progressed onto an Android smart phone (SAMSUNG). I have always had an Android and not ever tried an Iphone, I will always stick to the trusted and reliable Android. I have and am very pleased with their system and performance. I like the bigger Android phones screen and features. So No I will never purchase an Iphone, so my vote goes to ANDROID, The best in my opinion.

I like Apple products because they just 'work', but I have to go with Android because the ecosystem is much more open and inclusive...

Apple for me although I once thought I’d never change from Android.

My first phone was a Nokia, then a Samsung. Never thought I could afford an iPhone but it’s my best friend & is linked to my iPad & life is now soooo sooooo easy with Apple 🍎. Idiot proof to use, fabulous photos & videos plus all the normal features that are self explanatory - what more do you want? 😀. Please please p lease let me win a new iPhone 😀

Android all the way.. let's have diversity of choice and the ability to add storage space, plus much better cameras 📷 👏 

I honestly like both for me it's just hsving a mobile phone and all the functions available.  I had a mobile phone way back in the day and my fondest memories of using it comes from that tme. Whilst in a shop in a welsh town. My husband called, my phone rang and a lovely lady in the shopping queue behind me said "Ooowh she's got a mobile phone " in a beautiful welsh accent.

Since then I've been fortunate enough to own numerous different phones on just two networks Orange/EE and ID mobile. My children each have phones so I enjoy video chat. My current phone is an android and I would vote for them if forced to choose.

Have always been more than happy with Samsung android, despite both my children trying to talk me into changing to apple. Like the availability of apps and excellent camera.

Apple all the way. Yes, they are expensive but I use it so much, its worth it.

They both do exactly what they’re  supposed to do but you tend to have a preference for the 1 you are used to. I have an iPhone and so do all my family sowould probably find the initial change to an android difficult. I like the ease of transferring data to a new phone with iPhone and like the FaceTime and free photo sharing etc but this only really beneficial iPhone to iPhone 

Wouldn't want a phone from a firm that slowed it's phones down(Apple) to increase new sales.Think Android ect have caught up with Apple.

I've been happy with Android but bit of choice of what your used to suppose.

I've only owned android phones but have tryed apples found the apple phones to be good solid well built and the operating system is easy but seems more limited and costly to run .android is easy and cheaper to run and with a huge amount of phone choices will always win me over to android ,unless apple starts letting manufactures produce apple operated phones .plus some companies now produce high end phones at midrange price's on android

Well it depends really, 

Android caters for most people. They have huge range of designs at different costs, anything you needed Android can do it for you whether you need budget or flagship phone. Android is also way more customizable allowing the owner of the phone more control. But the problem with Android is that due to so many differences within Android its hard for apps like Instagram to integrate with them with only the latest Samsung doing so. But whether you care for only camera or battery or screen or features Android is the one.

But for apple, its perfected being simple, doesn't over do much, there is no 100mp camera yet its camera is arguably the best, some dont have 120hz screen yet its screen is still great, it develops its own chip so it can get the most power whereas Android rely on snapdragon, exynos or some of their own, apple provide more years of updates to their phones allowing security, but there lacks options, it's a great phone but too simple, but sometimes that's all you need. 

So if you just want to be safe iPhone is the one,if you want to spice it up then Android is the one.

As far as my computer (laptop & Desktop) is concerned I migrated from Windows to Linux several years ago & have never looked back & this means I am used to having complete control over my operating system & not being forced to do what the developers want me to do, it’s the same with my phone, Android allows me to use my device how I want whereas Apple is locked down & doesn't allow me to use my phone how I want to, so for me it’s Android all the way.
