I’m thinking of getting a new iD contract (24 months with phone) through MOBILES.CO.UK,if i did would i still keep my number from my current sim only monthly contract ??

No, you would not
Your purchase through MOBILES.CO.UK would result in a new connection to the iD network, which would come with a new mobile number.
