Not sure what to do. help please


I bought a new phone with contract last week but the phone is not suitable. So I’ve spoke to them and I have to return it it will be be cancelled and my number which I brought from o2 will revert to a payg. I was told to either go elsewhere with my number then after a month I can then bring the number back to Idmobile. 
 

I don’t want to have to change my number and I don’t have a spare phone and my friends don’t. 
 

im not brilliantly tech these days and can’t get my head round this. 
 

can anyone come up with a solution for me please

Sorry to hear this, if you’ve returned a plan, after the return completes we’ll be able to issue a PAC code so that you can keep your number with another network, I’m unsure exactly the issue here, please let us know any further details so we can advise further.

I was told I had to do the above but I was hoping for something easier. I can’t not have a phone for medical reasons and I don’t have a spare

I can only advise to purchase your new plan and initiate the port as soon as possible (after having returned).
