Unable to use phone abroad

Hi I requested data roaming be activated on both my wife and my own phone ahead of a mini break to Spain. My phone worked fine from the moment we landed allowing me to make calls back to the UK and access my Hotmail - Whatsapp etc. My wife however, whenever she tried to make a call, kept getting the message ‘’This number has not been assigned a cloud’’ if she attempted 40 times making a call she always received the same message ‘’This number has not been assigned a cloud’’ I too received the same message whenever I tried calling my wifes number. As anyone who has a Id mobile account knows getting in touch to resolve an issue is bad enough in the UK let alone overseas. So, despite our phones roaming activated can anyone throw any light on why she could not make calls?

Hello @Reachingout,

That’s odd.

To confirm was Roaming enabled on both your account and hers? I know you said this was done but it sounds like Roaming may not have been turned on in the account since you were able to roam fine but she could not even connect.

Was she connected to a network at the time?
