I have lost my phone. [REDACTED] I cancelled the Direct Debit in error. I have a new phone and a new plan with ID and new phone number. ( I have received my final bill for the lost phone but am unable to pay it. Procedure only opens new account for new phone [REDACTED] Automated 7777 call states I owe ZERO.

I am in my eighties. This is really stressing me out. Veiled threats of debt enforcement for the sake of £6.40.

I am just going round in circles.

Hi @Tony Lummis, we’ve just removed your mobile number from the post. As this is a public platform we’d recommend not sharing any personal information on here.

If you’re calling 7777 from another iD phone, the payment line will automatically try and put the payment towards that number. If you have a landline we’d recommend using that to pay via 0333 003 0001 or 0333 003 7777.

Alternatively, you can adjust a call setting on your phone to withhold your number. This will also allow you to make payment.

If you haven’t contacted iD Mobile to cancel off the old number, we’d recommend doing so as soon as possible, as cancelling a direct debit doesn’t cancel the contract.
