Emails queued in outbox

I am continuing to have regular problems sending emails from my phone - Moto G 3rd generation. I just get a message saying they are queued in my outbox even when I am on strong wifi. Can anyone explain what the problem is.

Hi Jons0, this could be an issue with the settings on your email account.
Some accounts require specific SMTP settings.

It would be advisable to check this with your email provider on their website.
