No service.

Today 16/09 I received a notification from the iD app saying my new sim card is in the process of been activated and another 10 minutes later saying it is now active. Since then I have had no service at all. I have not received a new sim and when I upgraded in July kept my old number and old sim and was instructed to just put my old sim card in when my new phone arrived. Can anyone help?
