3 way calling - always at least one person can't hear me

The only reason I moved to iD was because it was one of the last of the affordable MVNOs to support three-way-calling, and to do so within the monthly allowances.

The problem is, it never works!

I can set up and merge the calls, but when I do at least one of the two parties can't hear me.

I never used to have this issue with Plusnet Mobile.

Unfortunately this is a service I desperately need in order to help my parents deal with challenging medical calls and to help a disabled friend make voice calls.

My phone is a Nokia X30 5G running stock Android 14 with the latest security updates.

Do three way calls work for anyone else?

Does anyone else experience the same issue?

Does anyone have a fix or do I need to go find another operator?

Hi @jewelie

Sorry to hear this, it’s worth noting that the Nokia X30 5G isn’t a device we officially support, therefore services may not work as expected on it.

It may be worth trying your SIM card in a supported device.

3 way calling is working fine for me on Lebera (Vodafone network) on the same phone.

I've left iD now.

Hey there @jewelie, we’re very sorry to hear you had these issues, and therefore decided to leave us, and we wish you all the best.

Thanks,

Tyler
