4 & 5G dropping out everywhere

My phone seems to keep moving to H+ all the time and rarely is staying on 4 or 5G.

If I switch to airplane mode, it will give me 4G for a few seconds and then move to H+ again.

This is happening everywhere not just in one area.

Can anyone help?

Perhaps your handset is not using its AUTO mode for mobile data connections, @TRICHARDS2011

In addition, maybe check your iD SIM card in another device, to see if you get the same behaviour. Also, try a non-iD SIM card in your handset.

This should help to narrow down what might be faulty.

Airplane mode is supposed to stop use of the mobile network, @TRICHARDS2011

If your handset shows an H+ or 4G data connection with airplane mode ON, you might have a faulty handset.

I meant I switch airplane mode on and off, when it reconnects, it connects to 4G for about 10 seconds then reverts to H+

Found it, it was on auto connect but not the 5g one, there were three to choose from, on my Samsung.  Think that's fixed it, thank you!! 😁

Hopefully I can stop swearing at my phone now 🤣
