Bills going up every month and bumbers on I didn’t ring

There are lots of premium calls with 5 numbers which I certainly didn’t do. I am so sick of my bills going up.

Hi @Jean Little

Sorry to hear this, you didn’t make or receive the premium calls/texts mentioned in your bill, correct?

To avoid unwanted charges, we’d recommend setting/adjusting your bill cap;

I am still getting some gambling sites. They text me and I have never gambled in my life. There are no phone numbers or email addresses and I have tried putting STOP but it doesn’t go through. I just want them to stop as they are driving me mad.

Hey there @Jean Little, we’re very sorry to hear that.

Unfortunately, we cannot stop these texts from happening and have no control over these.

If you’re being charged for them, then please set your bill cap to £0.00, which will stop them from being charged and potentially received.

Or, we can offer a number change for £25.00 if you prefer which should stop it from happening.

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi @Jean Little

Instead of texting ‘STOP’ just block the number. Replying may incur a cost.
I’m sure at some point the contact will halt as they rely on you replying.
Texting ‘Stop’ is not the same as when you are asked to reply the same to legitimate numbers, and will be not be recognised by them but will ultimatley be seen as a confirmed contact and so you will be unindated with the same types of texts.
‘Ignore them’ or ‘block the numbers’ are the only way you will win this!
Good luck x x
