Hi there @Andreacotterill

Is this a very recent problem? Has it been fine for days/weeks/months?

If it is recent you’d be better off checking this for known issues, it only needs your postcode:

https://www.three.co.uk/content/experience-fragments/threedigital/uk/en/site/mvno/network-status-checker/idmobile.html

If its been an issue on and off then again put your postcode into here and check the coverage:

https://www.three.co.uk/content/experience-fragments/threedigital/uk/en/site/mvno/coverage-checker/idmobile.html

(the above defaults to 4G, simply toggle to 3G and 5G

If 3G has been turned off at your postcode then you may need to adjust your phone as per this:

(it starts with iPhone, then Samsung and finally most other Android based phones)

Hope this helps

They tried taking the. SIM out which hasn't worked so it's getting sent away to be fixed. I checked the status on network and it says they are fixing issues but didn't say what could this be the issue they are  trying to fix

@Andreacotterill

If the status checker is showing a known issue then it’s highly likely to not being your phone. So with that in mind and you don’t mind me asking, what did Currys say was wrong with your phone?

But I too am having signal issues (mine goes from a known fault, to being upgraded, to being fixed and back to a known fault) and I also need a working service so honestly know what you’re going through.

Curry's reinserted my sim card and that didn't work so they said they would.have to send it away and would take 28 days but just found out there is a signal error in my area so I'll just have to be patient hard with me being disabled and rely on my phone but nothing more can be done

@Andreacotterill

Thanks for replying. So they’ve sent your phone away?

I’m a little confused as to why they would do this. I would have thought Currys would have checked the network for known issues using your postcode before they sent it away. I’m baffled as to why they’ve done this.

And I’m unsure why it would take 28 days. Plus I hope they’ve included Christmas and the new year into this time frame.

I truly hope iD Mobile staff can look into this urgently, more so as you’re disabled. Some of us need a phone and maybe for things like this (assuming it is your phone) then Currys should look at offering a vulnerable phone loan service, even if it only has the ability to use it for calls and texts only.
