cant make calls

Fairly recently moved to ID Mobile. Had an iPhone 12 and found that in most circumstances and locations I can’t make calls .  The phone says it is dialling out, but there is no sound my end or the other person’s end

 

Have reset all settings and now upgraded to a new iPhone which has the same problem. New sentence
