Connecting to wifi

I have just started a new contract with ID mobiles today.  The switch went fine but not connecting to the wifi despite it appearing that it has connected.  I turned the mobile off and when I switched it back on there was a connection for about a second before it disappeared.  

Any suggestions

Thank you for the helpful responses.  Finally worked out the issue was due to VPN.  Once I disabled VPN on the new phone my internet connected

Okay ​@jmculpin, does this happen with just one Wi-Fi network, or is the same happening whatever Wi-Fi network you try?

I’ve only tried it with my wifi at home.  My laptop is connecting fine

I’m sorry to hear this, what device are you using?

 

I’d recommend trying another Wi-Fi network, if possible.
