Hello!

I have been using ID Mobile for two years now and I've worked out where in my house it works best. Since Thursday I have been having issues with my data. It is my main source on connectivity, I have no broadband.  The issue is that the places where the data used to work in my house, now do not and I have to wait to be outside of the house to receive a simple message from family. I dont know what is going on. Can someone help me please? I would not like to make any complaints...

Does the status checker say anything about potential issues in your area? I know Three aren’t the best sometimes

Well I've done the check for my postcode and it says that 4G and 5G should work perfectly, my issue in inside the house. I've not seen anything online about problems near me

@Jen_02  This may have something to do with the switching off of 3G services. Possibly 3G serviceshave been turned off recently in your area and now your have poor services.

Has another personal on the same network or 3 Three network experience said problem?

I know that you said you don’t have Broadband, However, there are providers that do a social tariff, Which is cheaper and designed for people on certain benefits. I would consider looking into this, As mobile Broadband technology is not that reliable. The speed fluctuates a lot and as you’ve seen so does the signal

Thank you! I did check this on Saturday and didn't say anything but not it does say there's an issue.

Hey there @Jen_02, sorry to hear that.

What’s your full postcode and what phone do you have please?

How long have you had issues?

Are data, calls and texts affected?

Thanks,

Tyler

SK11 6ER, Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. The issue started on Thursday, and it's only my data that has issues. Whatsapp messages are slow to send, videocalls are hard, and Instagram works barely in my bedroom. Outside of my home it works fine

@Jen_02 Have you tested your device only 4G settings? You need to go into your phone settings network and change the network settings to 4G only instead of 5G or automatically to see if this makes a difference to your service.

Your problem may be your communication mast it very busy hence the low or slow data connection speeds.

Hi @Jen_02,

We're fixing an issue in this area at the moment and aim to have things back up-and-running as soon as possible.

We're sorry for any disruption this may cause and will add any further updates here.

www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage

If the issue is ongoing since Thursday please allow 48 hours for it to be fixed, if the issue persists we can raise this via PM.

Most issues are fixed within 7 days so we would advise to allow the full timescale.
