Excellent 4G signal in Keswick, but no internet connection

I'm in Keswick on holiday. My pixel 9 pro has excellent 4g signal strength but no internet connection (unless on WiFi). I have plenty of data allowance left, so I must assume it's a local mast issue?

I have a very new Google Pixel 9 Pro with an eSIM. The last time I noticed I was right outside a supermarket called Booths in Keswick. Their postcode is CA12 5EA

I was in krakow last week , texts and phone calls working fine but no internet , exactly the same this week in palmanova , got unlimited on texts , phone and data , any help appreciated ??

Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m really sorry you’re experiencing issues with your data. I understand how frustrating this must be, especially while you’re away or on holiday.
 

Please try the following quick steps:

UK (Keswick):

Turn Airplane Mode ON/OFF
Restart your phone
Make sure Mobile Data is ON
Reset network settings
Try switching to 4G only mode
 

Abroad (Krakow / Palmanova):

Ensure Data Roaming is switched ON
Restart your phone
Manually select a local network
Toggle Airplane Mode ON/OFF
 

General checks:

Turn off VPN or data saver settings
Make sure there are no battery restrictions affecting data
 

If it still doesn’t work after this, please let us know

Thank you for your response, and sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your data while in Palmanova.

To help improve your connection, please try manually selecting a partner network in Spain, such as Yoigo or Movistar, in your phone’s network settings. This can often restore service when automatic connection isn’t working as expected.

You can do this by going to:
Settings > Mobile Network > Network Selection > Turn off Automatic > Select Yoigo or Movistar

Once selected, restart your device and check if data and service improve.
