I CANNOT MAKE OUTGOING CALLS - HELP ME PLEASE ID MOBILE THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

I would be grateful for some help and advice please as a matter of urgency.

I can receive calls but cannot make any outgoing calls. I am in Guernsey presently and have had no issues previously making calls. However, about 3 weeks ago the problems started.  It seems I cannot call any Guernsey mobile numbers, “CALL FAILED” keeps happening.  I was over 3 hours last Friday afternoon chatting to Chatbot on ID, I did all the checks and still no success.

I have switched my phone on/off 3 times, still no luck.  Also I have done a Network Reset, still no luck.

Please can someone help me as a matter of urgency, being without my phone is a nightmare.

Also, when you go into phone settings, is your phone number showing correctly?

I have an iPhone 12, I am in Guernsey seeing my Mum. the post code is : GY6 8NW.

The number is correct.

Hey there ​@sarahaj, as Guernsey is seen as international, you’d need to enable roaming via the iD Mobile app/website, and also via your phone’s own settings to use data, calls and texts here. Have you done so?

Hi Tyler,

Thank you for your message.

I have done all that has been asked of me regarding Roaming, switched the phone on and off several times again. I really do need this sorted now please, I am a student and also work from home, not being able to make calls to Guernsey numbers if seriously affecting my quality of life.

When will this be resolved please?

Hey there ​@sarahaj, we’re doing our best to help you resolve this, of course. Just to confirm, have these calls/texts etc ever worked beforehand?

 

Are you in Guernsey and calling Guernsey numbers, or in the UK and calling them to confirm? If you’re in Guernsey, how long have you been there for?

 

Also, what phone do you have?

Hi Tyler, thank you for your response.  Everything worked great up until about 3 weeks ago, I’ve never had any issues.  I spend a lot of time in Guernsey, always been a great service.  Data is great, texting is great.  The issue appears to be calling Guernsey mobiles with numbers starting 07781 …… people on the other end can’t hear me - I hear them for about 10 seconds and then it cuts them off.  On my phone it says “CALL FAILED”.

Thank you for looking into this for me, I am frustrated but very grateful.

Morning Tyler, just wondering if there is any news? I  had an issue 2 years ago which was very stressful. I am starting to feel very anxious due to this ongoing problem, it’s affecting my work & studied. I am desperate to be able to make phone calls. It might be easier to private message me (like ID 2 years ago). 
 

I really need this sorted as soon as possible. It’s time critical now & having a significant knock on effect.

What is going on ID?????

4 DAYS WITH NO CONTACT FROM YOURSELVES!!

I have sent you 3 messages with none answered.
Ongoing problems continue, I still cannot make phone calls, I call a number, takes a while to connect, then a load of beeps and “CALL FAILED” cutting the person off.

When is this going to be resolved please?

We are sorry for the delay, the Community is worked on a daily basis and we aim to get back to all customers ASAP.

Have you tried the SIM in another handset? It sounds like it may be a coverage issue in the area. Do you have the postcode?

Hello, my call failure issue is still unresolved!

it’s now 6 months of this hassle.

I REGRET MOVING TO ID mobile.

please help resolve as I am now complaining to trading standards it this is not resolved.
