Last week I missed 2 very important calls that went straight to voicemail.

I have installed an app (macrodroid) that is set up to tell me when the signal is lost and regained.

Phone is a Sony Xperia 1 ii 5G.

Macrodroid  is telling me the signal is lost about 10 times a day.

So far I have:

Tried the SIM in another phone (LG V60 thinq 5G), the same if not worse.

Tried an LG V40, exactly the same.

Cleaned my old SIM, no effect.

Got a new SIM from Currys - no change.

Last night the signal was lost for about 10 hours.

I do live in a  low signal area (hd96er) and typically signal strength is about -100db.

The network stats suggesr 3 is the best network for my area.

However my wife’s iphone X on 02 never has any issues.

Can anyone suggest a solution.

Hey there @Sondek01, welcome to Community!

Sorry to hear that. Have you checked if there’s any work or issues in your area via the link below that could be affecting signal?

As you’ve mentioned that you live in a low coverage area, then this typically would suggest the reasoning for the poor signal and missing calls etc, but of course there could be other factors.

Have you tried resetting network settings?

Thanks,

Tyler

Yes checked with 3 for coverage issues. Just said it was an area with heavy usage.

Also reset the network settings which made no difference.
