My calls keep dropping out. I have also activated wifi calling in my settings but it doesn't change to this when I don't have coverage. My 4G and 5G connection is super slow when browsing or non existent when our and about

I would advise checking the network coverage in the area along with the network status.

 

However Wi-Fi calling should still work even with bad coverage in the area. Does Wi-Fi calling work fine on another handset?

I managed to get in touch with ID through chat and although my phone is set to automatically update. They asked me to manually check in settings and as large update was needed. All issues fixed now.

Do what I'm going to do, change to another network provider.

 

I moved to ID (3) from O2 because of the intermittant terrible call quality. I'm in Manchester. '3' shows as the 2nd best signal strength for my postal area behind Vodafone but so far it is worse than O2 with call drop outs occuring on most long phone calls I've made.

 

I'm getting on average 3 bars, sometimes 1 bar in my lounge. I live 2 miles from the city centre..
