Network Quality is Poorer than expected!

The Network quality is poorer than expected for my postcode.

I thought 02 was bad with drop outs, but the signal strength is definately weaker with 3.

It is supposed to the 2nd best in my postcode area in terms of signal strength (behind Vodafone). Very disappointing..

I used to be with 3 many years ago and they were ok at first. Haven't times changed.

I'll be off to another provider as soon as my contract ends.

See you ID.. 👋🏼

Hey there @tankman, sorry to hear that.

What’s your full postcode, and what phone do you have?

Thanks,

Tyler

Thank you.

To confirm, is that the Pro version of the Huawei Mate 20?

If so, that would be on the approved handsets list which is good.

I have checked the area and there are no known issues currently detected.

3G is no longer available. 4G is excellent inside and outside so we would recommend using this where possible.

Thanks,

Nat

Hi. It's not the PRO.

It's model nunber is EVR-N29.

It is a 5G phone but I used 4G all of the time as 5G has always been erratic.

I get that your maps show signal strength as very good but I am telling you they are worse than 02, and 02 was bad with call drop outs and poor quality voice. That's why I switched network.

3 is supposed to be the 2nd best, after Vodafone in my area.

The signal strength indoors at best 3 bars and sometimes 1 bar.

Thank you.

From what I can see, it would only be the Pro version that would be listed as a handset compatible with our service.

Can you please double check here and let us know if your handset is not listed?

Thanks,

Thank you for your reply @tankman

Based on the information provided the handset is not supported/approved for by iD Mobile.

With this being the case, you may experience issues with using the service.

The Pro version is on the approved handset list so I provided this to you just to make sure that is not the handset you are using.
