Network: Torquay very slow!!!

The network connection is dreadful - !!

LTE =0.18meg…. Certainly not the fastest 5g network

Just tried a Lebara SIM in my phone and that’s at 62meg…!

I have an iPhone 11pro running 17.5.1, my SIM is 100g/month and I have virtually all of that

Is anyone else having issues? Have been here for a few days now and nothing I’ve tried improved it

How do I actually get to speak with an iD person to get this looked at???

Hey @Blackdogn3,

Do you have a specific postcode you’re experiencing issues at?

Thanks.

This was a week ago and I’ve moved along the coast since then, Ona boat in various marina, and the service is totally useless for large stretches of the coast.

For the two postcodes you provided @Blackdogn3 it shows LIMITED signal for Three UK (our network partner), so your coverage and speed won’t be ideal. The coastline will often have less signal in general, I find that on both my Vodafone and iD Mobile SIM at my local beaches, let alone on a boat in the water. I’d suggest trying a Manual Roam, to see if that improves things:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Mobile Service’.

  3. Tap ‘Network Selection'.

  4. Turn off the ‘Automatic toggle’.

  5. Choose a different network (Vodafone, EE or O2 - UK).

  6. Wait for 1 minute.

  7. Switch the automatic toggle back on.

Thanks.
