New Customer Poor Signal

Hi. Moved to ID for the price and heard it was powered by the 3 network. Signal ok - just - at home HD2 2RA. But at work HD5 0RH 4G is non-existent and I’ve just seen all 3G is being switched off and is the only signal I get inside the building. So when 3G is switched off, what am I going to do if 4G is unavailable? Wish I’d not switched now.

Maybe try the OFCOM mobile coverage checker for 4G reception indoors at HD5 0RH, @darrant24

Alternatively, check the https://mastdata.com website, which has real-world signal strength data for many locations in the UK.

Hi there @darrant24

For your works postcode it does sadly state this:

There is, at times, heavy usage in this local area. As a result, you may experience varying data speeds depending on how many customers are connecting to our network via your closest mast.

We’re always working to improve our network and aim to provide the best experience possible.

And again at your work place the 4G coverage is only good outdoors too.

Hi @darrant24,

Welcome to the Community!

I would advise contacting our Live Chat Team.

The team can raise this with Three UK to investigate further if no issues are showing on the coverage or network status checker.
