new to the network please help


I’m new to the network and I’m having lots of random little problems a reoccurring one is people not being able to hear me which the only thing I can put down too is signal issue yet I’m meant to be able to do WiFi calls

You should be able to use WiFi calling but after the recent problems we’ve had to switch it off to enable calls. It’s a nightmare at the minute.

Postcode, SE6 4DN. iPhone 15.. calls on network appear to be working but not on WiFi calling. I have been involved with electronics all my life and there is no problem with our internet service, all this happened after the network problems last week.

Sorry to hear that ​@Ron C. So to confirm, normal calls work, but Wi-FI calling does not?

Sorry to hear that ​@Ron C. Was Wi-FI calling working previously for you?

 

Have you tried toggling it off and back on again, and also restarting your phone?

Hi there ​@Ron C, sorry to hear that. When you go into settings and look at Wi-Fi calling, does it just state it’s on? It’s not showing a loading spinning circle or giving you any errors at all?

Yes, it shows it as on with no error messages

Yes, WiFi calling worked until the recent 3 network issue.

Yes I had deleted the network and then reinstalled

Forget network on phone and then reinstall

No problem ​@Ron C. Just to check, when you go into both your phone settings and iMessage, is your phone number showing and showing correctly in both?

Can we please confirm if you are only having the issue when attempting to use WiFi calling at home? Have you been able to test other connections?
