Recently switched to ID as both my sons are on ID and seemed excellent value. I have iPhone 15 but do not seem to ever get 5G? My wife is on EE and in popular places that have 5G gets it but I never do?
any thoughts on what’s wrong?

Maybe the 5G coverage on the EE network is better than the 5G coverage on the Three UK network. The different UK mobile networks don’t always provide the same coverage at any given location.
My iPhone 13 receives a 5G signal on the Three UK network, where it’s available.
Have you checked the device settings,
Settings > Mobile Service > Mobile Data Options > Voice & Data

Thank you, checked my settings and found its set to ‘auto 5G’ and will only use 5G when it feels it will enhance the performance in order to protect battery life...who knew!😆
