no connection

I got my id handset and SIM today however the internet connection is terrible. It is connecting for a few moments, running extremely slow then showing no internet connection. I cannot use it as a hotspot either then it will not work on the phone at all or as a hotspot. Very disappointing and will cancel the contract as not good at all. I don't have WiFi right now therefore it is my only source of internet. Cannot even speak to an advisor?! Really really disgusted with iD and regretting my choice to take out contract with this company 

Probably the best option in the circumstances, to avoid any ongoing hassle, @Kconnelly

Simply arrange a return during the contract cooling off period.

Have you checked the coverage and network status in the area?

If you don’t find any issues it may be worth testing the SIM in a different handset and a replacement SIM.
