I just can't use my phone in central London. Green park, Piccadilly, Shaftesbury avenue. The phone says I've got 4G or 5G with bars, but Google maps doesn't load, messages don't send, it's just a brick. This is properly poor. It's a brand new Google pixel 8.

I’m also having this problem, has anyone managed to solve it?
it’s actually so bad I’m having to try and use WiFi of pubs etc around me to be able to get where I’m going / meet people.
Phone thinks I have full signal 5G or 4G but unable to connect to internet, only in prime central London areas.

Did you check while you were using free or paid Wi-Fi if there were any IDMobile network issues or network 3 Three issues on either of their network status checker?
