No network coverage

I have not been able to make or receive calls for 3 days now, my phone is compatible with 4g and is the same one I have had since joining id mobile 6 months ago, I have tried every suggestion on here and still nothing. No signal bars or 4g showing. The live chat is absolutely useless and no other way of getting any customer service help. Can anybody help?

Why not put your postcode into id’s NETWORK COVERAGE page??

Tried that, didn't resolve problem as it states no coverage or network issues local.

It’s possible that you were in a 3G only area and THREE have turned off the 3G mast, leaving you with no signal. You need to speak with a live chat agent who would be able to confirm if this is the case.

I have been running on 4g since joining, my mom lives in same area and no issues with her network at all

I’m guessing by your vague reply that your mother is with another network? If so, that’s irrelevant to your issue. However, if your sure you had 4G coverage but now nothing, then there must be a fault with the mast. WiFi calling should still work though? What phone do you have? Do you have a physical SIM or eSIM? If physical, have you tried removing it, cleaning it and reinstalling it?

My mom is with id also, WiFi calling isn't working either but works in every other way on my phone and I have a Samsung Galaxy which is on the list capable of using 4g, which was fully working both indoors and outdoors until Thurs evening. Sim been taken out, cleaned, replaced, network reset also been tried, airplane mode toggled on off and rebooted phone. Software fully up to date and live chat is useless. Says I can chat with agent but only connects to a bot.

Just tell the bot you want to speak to a person and it will connect you to a live chat agent.

Signal and network were perfectly fine and working today as soon as I got to work 4 miles away from my home, now completely lost it again back in my home town.

Then clearly there is an issue with the mast closest to your home. Use Wi-Fi calling until they fix it if you can.

Can't be a problem with the mast as my mom lives in same street as me and uses same network and her phone works perfectly at mine, WiFi calling won't work either but fine in every other way. Live chat couldn't sort the issue so passed it to tech team, not holding out hope for resolution.

Hi Blue eyes.

I have exactly the same problem as you. Lost all phone network, but I still have Internet, as if the Internet works on a different signal.

Where are you, roughly?

Do you get notifications when I post in the forum?

Anyway, you can try this. (SAMSUNG S23+)

Settings >

Connections >

Mobile networks >

VoLTE Calls - turn on

I think this then uses the Internet to make and receive calls abdominal as I said my Internet is working.

Oh no spoke too soon, just lost all connectivity 🚫

Try it anyway, let me know what happens

If you get no signal when at home but you get signal when away from home then it has to be the mast. Or do you mean, you get signal but can’t make or receive calls? There is a difference between the two.

I’ve also had the same problem as Blueeyes90, unable to make or receive calls for the last week and I’m using a 5G compatible phone in a 5G area.

I’ve followed the advice from Pinheadplanet and now I can make & receive calls.

THANK YOU Pinheadplanet, much appreciated!!!!

Afraid I’m having the same problem. Unable to make or receive calls for the last couple of days using an iPhone 14. Having to make calls using WhatsApp. In North Yorkshire.  WiFi calling not working but data is.

I just chatted with iD. My 3G mast was switched off yesterday, the same day my trouble started 🤦🏼

I get no signal at all, and can't make/receive calls.

Thanks for the tip but tried that numerous times and all other tips with zero luck at all. My WiFi works perfectly for everything else but nothing when I try using it for calls. Texts and WhatsApp working normally.

@Blueyes90 @Pinheadplanet

I tried all the advice to no avail.  In the end I tried putting my SIM card in my wife’s phone and it worked!  Put it back in my phone and it was working again too.  No idea why but able to make and receive calls again now.  The only thing I cannot do, which I could before, is use my phone as a wifi hotspot.

Hope this helps.

I’d leave !! Which is exactly what I’m doing after only a very short time on ID Mobile the service and customer service is abysmal to say the least. I’m going back to Voxi as from day one with thei ID mobile it posted. they had technical problems and I could not make or receive calls or texts no iMessages or FaceTime on my brand new  Apple iPhone which is not even a year old. I never had hassles with Voxi and I regret leaving. All I can say to you is I doubt anything will get better and so Leave!!! Although watch out about how much they want to charge you  if you leave!!

I have already been told there will be an early exit fee, which I have stated I will refuse to pay as the issue is theirs and I'm not getting the service I am paying for.
