I’d leave !! Which is exactly what I’m doing after only a very short time on ID Mobile the service and customer service is abysmal to say the least. I’m going back to Voxi as from day one with thei ID mobile it posted. they had technical problems and I could not make or receive calls or texts no iMessages or FaceTime on my brand new  Apple iPhone which is not even a year old. I never had hassles with Voxi and I regret leaving. All I can say to you is I doubt anything will get better and so Leave!!! Although watch out about how much they want to charge you  if you leave!!

This is a common issue when switching networks and affects all of them. Did you follow the steps in this guide?

Thanks.

I tried all the advice to no avail.  In the end I tried putting my SIM card in my wife’s phone and it worked!  Put it back in my phone and it was working again too.  No idea why but able to make and receive calls again now.  The only thing I cannot do, which I could before, is use my phone as a wifi hotspot.

Hope this helps.

Glad you resolved the issue that was @RMc. Strange you’re no longer able to use it as a Wi-Fi hotspot though, have you tried restarting the device? Thanks.

I tried everything possible and yes I followed all the advice!!! It’s farcical and no it does not affect every network when you change as other members of my family never had this but then they were not as idiotic to switch to ID Mobile!  If ID mobile is hyped up as so amazing why why why all these complaints? !!!  This speaks for itself. Come Monday  my switch back to Voxi will be complete  and never to return or recommend . Trying to get a PAC number was farcical as no good sending a text request as it did not work and kept saying send  PAC with date of birth only for umpteen responses saying exactly the same thing the ID mobile were having difficulties .. I finally managed to get a PAC from the website after again a lot of  difficulty…. It’s a lesson to be learned that all that seems to glitter from ID mobile  is not gold or reliable or  capable of providing  a basic service. I personally suggest  the company is not fit to  hold a licence and OFCOM  should revoke it forthwith. I kept an email transcript of my chat with an agent  which was illuminating in the extreme and I shall be sharing this on social media as I suggest no one in this day and age needs to part with good money for a service which is probably before third world standards!!!
even the agent iin chat who tried his best in the end said ID Mobile seemed to have major technical issues which he was unable to ascertain when if and how these would be fixed… I felt sorry for the poor man!!

I have an iPhone 15 pro max with 256 GB  . It’s not even a year old and everything worked perfectly  before I joined ID mobile.
Anyway nothing further to add as come Monday I will be left this ghastly mobile company.  It lesson to be learned and a warning to be given to others!!

@Blueyes90 we recently added a new step for Dual SIM phones, did you get a chance to view it as well?

  1. Using a Dual SIM device? Follow these steps.

For VoLTE to work, your iD Mobile SIM MUST be in SIM Slot 1 and set as the ‘Primary’ SIM.

  1. Remove your SIM tray.
  2. Pop your iD Mobile SIM is in SIM Slot 1 (this will be indicated on the SIM tray itself).
  3. Reinsert your SIM tray.

To check if your iD Mobile SIM is set as ‘Primary’, simply follow these steps.

  1. Open ‘Settings’.

  2. Tap ‘Connections’.

  3. Tap ‘SIM Card Manager’.

  4. Tap ‘Calls’, ‘Text Messages’ and ‘Mobile data’.

  5. Tap SIM 1.

Afraid I’m having the same problem. Unable to make or receive calls for the last couple of days using an iPhone 14. Having to make calls using WhatsApp. In North Yorkshire.  WiFi calling not working but data is.

I've have no id mobile broad band connection today. My wife, same type of phone, no issues re id broad band. When I to settings, internet, my network, my WiFi network shows with on/off toggle but not id mobile with on / off toggle.
