Hi. I joined iD mobile on 16/07 from 3 using a PAC. However I have only got data service and no network coverage. So I have been unable to make calls or message from my phone except when I have a solid WiFi connection since 16/07. I have contacted iD chat bot before today and was given a number of steps to follow which did not work. I was put through to a live chat with two separate agents. I was told to wait until engineering work was complete in my area and to keep refreshing network settings but this has not worked either.

Hi @NatOxe

Sorry to hear this, do you get 4G/5G or not?

Are you sure the SIM card was swapped from the Three UK one to ours when the transfer happened?

Hi Tom. Thanks for replying. I occasionally get 4g / 5g. I did move my 3 SIM to the new phone on 16/07 for the planned transfer.

Hi there @NatOxe, to confirm, are you using the iD Mobile SIM card now in your phone?

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi @Tyler C. I am using the ID Mobile SIM card in my phone. Can you please help me or let me know what I need to do to resolve the issue? My PAC was only valid for 30days from 03/07/2025

Thanks

Nathan

Hi there @NatOxe, thank you for confirming.

When you go into phone settings, is your phone number showing correctly?

Also, what device do you have please?

Thanks,

Tyler

@Tyler C  I have an iPhone 16 Pro.
In Settings > Apps > Messages my phone number is showing as +447983…… and in Phone it’s showing +447983…… for both Primary and Mobile Data.
I have also tried various network refreshes over the past days as advised.

Hi there @NatOxe, and to confirm, that phone number is the correct one?

Just to check, is it affecting data, calls or texts?

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi @Tyler C

My full correct number (including the country code is showing)

I can only make calls and send / receive messages when I have a data or WiFi connection.

Hi @Tyler C

Can you let me know what I can do next in order to get my iD Mobile service up and running please?

Are you able to help me any further or do I need to contact someone else?

Thanks

Hi @NatOxe

Have you tried resetting your network settings?

Hi @Anika A

Thanks for your reply but I have tried countless daily network refreshes.which have no effect.
As far as I can see either the SIM is at fault or the porting of my number using the PAC didn’t work out on 16/07

Is there any other way of resolving this? For example iD Mobile checking the porting request?

Thanks

Nathan
